First off, my name is Kami! I’m a junior in college now and I’m just now getting my shit together.
This is my short little story, a little background information on me. Let’s see. In about 11th grade (I was 16) was when I really started fully appreciating my fast metabolism. I realized I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain any weight. But I also came to the conclusion that if I ate less then I would be thinner and who doesn’t want that? So I dropped to about 105 pounds, which is extremely underweight for me because I was 5’6. I had to go to counseling and all that, and eventually got to about 115 by the end of my senior year, which seemed to satisfy everyone, me and my mother.
Then I went to college, and let me tell you, the freshman 15 is NOT an exaggeration. For someone who was used to eating whatever she wanted and having no consequences, I was screwed. In one semester I gained 20 pounds. Gross, right? I was 135, and extremely unhappy. But, I had never really worked out before, so I didn’t do anything about it and just hated my body instead. It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college where I started trying to lose weight, but I knew nothing about what foods to eat and I didn’t even have a kitchen I could use.
Now, that’s changing. I’m 20, I have a house with a kitchen, and I’m all out of excuses. I’m going to get in shape so I can start my 20’s off right! As of February 2013, I have reached my UGW!! Now I’m working on really toning the muscles I have and slimming down even more!
Other than that, I’m a pretty chill, down-to-earth girl from Texas, and I love to help people! Ask me literally anything you want here.
Also, I have a lovely, wonderful, and supportive boyfriend, and we’ve been dating for a little over 2 years now. So…don’t ask me any sort of sexual-type question haha I’m not interested.
